Aadhaar enrollment begins in Nangal, Punjab

The Aadhaar enrolment process has been started in the Nangal town of the Rupnagar district of Punjab. People of the town have been waiting for the start of Aadhaar enrollment in their town and after a long wait the enrollment process has begun in the town.

DC asks to finish work by 31 March in Hoshiarpur

During the second phase of Aadhaar enrollment in the Hoshiarpur district of Punjab, 192072 enrollments have been done so far while the first phase covered a total of 689948 enrollments. This information was given by the district collector (DC) Manasvi Kumar while attending a meeting.

A dozen of Aadhar cards found in garbage

One side where people are struggling to obtain their Aadhaar numbers, incidents of finding Aadhar card in garbage also not coming to a halt. The recent such news is from Himayunpur village of Firozabad district of Uttar Pradesh where about one dozen Aadhar cards were found in garbage in a street.

Lacs of people to re-enroll as a result of data loss

Those people of Himachal Pradesh who enrolled for Aadhaar before 1st April 2012 but have not received their Aadhaar letters yet might need to re-enroll for Aadhar card. There are lacs of people in the state who have not received their Aadhar card even after a long wait of time.
