Gujarat CM and BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi is the first choice of the people to be country’s next Prime Minister. There is already a huge buzz of Narendra Modi throughout the country for being country’s next PM. Narendra Modi’s popularity can be understood in such a way that he is far away from any of his competitor. The poll was conducted by www.myaadhaarcard.in asking people to tell who should be the next prime minister of India? The poll results reveal some shocking and interesting facts as well about some famous Indian politicians, people’s knowledge about politics and their behavior towards the election.
A total of 1775 people casted their votes and poll results is based on these votes. The poll asked people ‘Who should be the next Prime Minister of India?’ with giving a total of 11 options for the voters to choose from including ‘Can’t Say’ and ‘Not Interested’ option. Politicians who were in the options list included Narendra Modi, Arvind Kejriwal, Rahul Gandhi, Anna Hazare, Mulayam Singh Yadav, Mayawati, Nitish Kumar, Jay Lalita and Mamata Banarjee. The most surprising outcome of the poll is that social activist Anna Hazare got more number of votes than any other politicians except Modi, Kejriwal and Rahul.
Narendra Modi of course got maximum 63% (1117) votes and is definitely the first choice as PM of this country. The close battle was between Rahul and Kejriwal which Arvind win with a close margin. Arvind Kejriwal is the second choice of people for PM post as he got 12.3% (218) votes followed by Rahul Gandi at third position after receiving 11.8% (210) votes. Anna Hazare is next in the line with 2.6% (47) votes. Anna’s likeness more than other five remaining politicians is definitely surprising. Next most voted at number five position is Jay Lalita with 1.5% (26) votes followed by Mayawati at number six with 1.4% (25) votes. Bihar’s CM Nitish Kumar is at number seven position with 1.2% (22) votes followed by WB CM Mamata Banarjee at number eight with 1% (19) votes. SP’s chief Mulayam Singh Yadav is the least favourite candidate for PM post who got just 0.8% (15) votes in the poll. Another shocking outcome of the poll is that 3.2% (57) people are not even interested in talking about such thing and this number is far higher than the number of votes received individually by other six candidates. 1% (19) people can’t say anything about this question.
Whoever becomes PM of India but this poll has revealed some funny and interesting facts. The first one is that Anna Hazare is more liked for PM post than very famous politicians like Mamata, Jay Lalita, Mayawati, Nitish and Mulayam Singh Yadav. The second is more number of people are not interested in discussing about this topic than people who like their favourite politicians to become Prime Minister.
