CSK vs MI battle is considered to be the biggest rivalry match of Indian Premier League. The biggest reason for this is the high profile teams followed by large number of fans. CSK this time will host MI who has lost both its matches. After losing its first match against KXIP, CSK has come back well and has won its previous two matches. Bowling of the team has been brilliant on last two occasions while batting lineup looks best this season. Team bowlers especially Jadeja and Ashwin have delivered to the expectations of Dhoni while other bowlers have also done well for the team. Team has got a good batting attack from opening till the down in the lineup. But they have to be careful of MI which will look to bounce back in the tournament.
Mumbai Indians will be back on the field after a gap of 5 days. After being defeated in the first two matches, the side is desperate for a win but their way is not going to be easy as they are up against a strong side like CSK. The concern for MI is failure of their batting department where despite being big names, team has performed below average. Bowling looks good in the presence of Malinga and Zaheer while Ojha and Bhajji are expected to improve their game. Captain Rohit Sharma need an inning to get the confidence back and return to form which is a must for MI. Team relies a lot on Michael Hussey for a good opening stand with Aditya Tare while middle order of the deam depends on captain himself, Ambati Rayudu, Pollard and Anderson. Best performance from the team can only help MI in challenging CSK on a double header day. An exciting contest is expected between these two sides.
