Schools to enroll students for Aadhaar in HP

Those students who have not enrolled for need not to panic. Himachal Pradesh government has directed school administration to provide Aadhaar enrolment facility to their students in their campus. The state government has asked all the government schools to accommodate Aadhar card enrolment facilities. The government has given a deadline of 3 months to enroll all those students who have not enrolled yet. Students will be enrolled during the normal school hours. Aadhaar is necessary for all those students who are looking for some scholarship from the government. The amount of scholarship will be directly credited into the Aadhaar linked bank account of the beneficiary student.

Because of fewer enrolment centre in the region, authority has decided to enrol people for Aadhar card at cyber cafe in Bhiwandi, Thane. Earlier it came into news that few enrolling agencies were charging people for Aadhaar due to which this decision has been taken by the concerned body. The staff members at the cyber cafe will not be able to charge people any money for enrolment because the enrolment machine will be provided with a system that will remain in contact with the head office all the time. This will force the machine operator to enrol people in only that region where he has been permitted to.

The Ambala district administration has decided to setup 10 permanent enrolment centres in the district for the sake of people’s facility. The administration clarified that the subsidy from the government will be provided only through the bank accounts and for that the linkage of Aadhaar number with the beneficiaries’ bank accounts is necessary. People of the district have been asked to enrol for Aadhaar as early as possible. Not only new people but also those who have enrolled for Aadhaar can visit these centres to modify their incorrect details.
