People will now not have to wait for hours in long queues for Aadhar card enrolment. Given the increase in the crowd in the north-eastern Delhi, the number of computers can be increased. If required then the number of employees can also be increased so that people do not have to wait for hours. This information was given by north-eastern DC LR Garg. The enrolment process is fast at the north-eastern DC office these days. Only two counters are for Aadhaar enrolment. Because of which the people coming for enrolment gather in queue from morning. People have to wait for hours because of long queues. During few people also complained to the concerned officials. DC LR Garg said that the numbers of computer is five. Now the enrolment will begin in the premises of the office. When required the numbers of computer will also be increased so that the completion of people’s work can take place.
For the common people’s facility during the free Aadhaar enrolment from the government the administration has prepared itself. While inspecting at the E-Disha Centre in Kurukshetra, Punjab SDM Ashok Bansal himself listened to the complaints of the people. He told that the country-wide valid this 12-digit UID number will facilitate in easily accessing government and non-government services. At present the enrolment process in underway at 12 different place and 57 machines are being used in the district. For people’s facility now enrolment is being done in ward no. 1, 2, 3, 29, 30 and other wards. According to the stats 86,488 enrolments have been done till 5 February.
