Haryana Government appoints Introducer and Verifier to ease Aadhaar enrolment for people without sufficient document proof

Those people in Haryana can also enroll for Aadhaar who do not have any document proof of their identity or address. Verification of identity and residential address of such people will be done by introducer. Haryana state government has deiced to appoint introducer with the aim of making Aadhar card for everyone. State government has also released a notification in this regard according to which Nambardar and Sarpanch in rural while councilor of Municipality Corporation in urban areas can act as the introducer for this they have to apply at Deputy Commissioner Office.

Similarly, documents given at the time of Aadhaar enrollment will be verified by the verifier and person interested to be appointed as verifier also needs to apply at Deputy Commissioner Office. At present Patwari and village secretary working for government services can also become verifier. Besides, retired service employees of class three or above and retired service teacher of central or state government can also be appointed as verifier.

People interested in being appointed as either introducer or verifier has to apply at concerned DC Office. After sorting of applications DC will send names to state registrar of UIDAI who will appoint people with name as introducer or verifier after taking necessary steps. Introducer would be that person who will officially verify identity and address of that person who do not have sufficient proof for Aadhaar enrollment. Similarly, verifier will be that person who will verify the attached document proofs of name, address, date of birth etc. Person who wants to be appointed as either introducer or verifier must already have his/her Aadhaar number and must be present at the enrollment camp while verifying other persons during their enrollment.
