Central Government’s Aadhar card based Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) scheme is soon going to begin in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh. The first phase of this scheme will include 26 schemes and the starting phase will benefit 5000 people directly. Benefits of few important schemes will directly reach to beneficiaries through this. Bank account of beneficiaries under this scheme would be opened up through Aadhar card. By using Aadhar card no individual can take benefits of the same scheme more than once. This will eliminate speculations of any scandal. DM Jagatraj Tripathi has ordered concerned officials to ensure that all the specified beneficiaries under phase one get the scheme benefits within three days at any cost.He said that if this does not happen then the responsible would be held for strict investigation.
Warning letters to enrollment employees in Meerut
Meerut Cant Board CEO has issued warning letter to four person and show cause notice to one employee for showing loose attitude in public’s Aadhar card enrollment process. No Cant Board officer or employee reached at the enrollment centre of Lalkurti region on Friday. Warning letters have been issued to CEE Anuj Singh, Tax Superintendant Sudhir Gupta, Senior Clerk Hitesh Gupta and Junior Clerk Ramesh Kumar while the show cause notice has been issued to Dispatch Clerk Kirana Bala. Allegation on them is that they did not distributed enrollment forms in public in four blocks of ward-1. Cant Board CEO Dr. DN Yadav has written letter to DM and SSP asking for police force as it might be needed for peaceful Aadhar card enrollment in the region. He has requested to provide police security at every enrollment centre in the Cant region.
Permanent Aadhar enrollment centers in Madurai
Residents of Madurai district of Tamil Nadu might soon get to know addresses permanent centers for Aadhar card enrollment. Concerned officials and authorities are in talks to setup permanent Aadhar card enrollment centers in the city and for this search for finding suitable locations are still going on. It is quite obvious that huge crowd at the enrollment centers in the city has forced administration to think about this move. If the proposal gets approval then it will be the first time that Aadhar card enrollment centers would be opened on a permanent basis.
