Goa state government has made Aadhar card mandatory for accessing welfare schemes in the state. At such a time when people have not received their Aadhaar letters even after a long wait of time, the chief minister of Goa Mr. Manohar Gopalkrishna Prabhu Parrikar has brought a breath of relief for the peopleof the state. He has said that if people have not received their Aadhar cards then they can take the copies of the e-Aadhaar letter by downloading it from the website. He added that softness will be adopted during the initial 3 months but after that Aadhar card will be made mandatory.
The Aadhaar enrolment work has been started at Bank of Baroda of Jhajjar, Haryana. Bank manager said that bank has allotted space for enrolment from its premises. The enrolment work will continue for 15 days but seeing at the interest of the people it can also be further extended. Jay Singh, councillor of ward no 2 said that enrolment work is being done in the whole district. Seeing at the importance of Aadhar card he has started enrolment at Bank of Baroda so that people do not face difficulties. He said that for Aadhaar any citizen of India can enrol. He also appealed people to enrol for Aadhaar.
