Aadhar card becomes a basis of illegal income for employees in Fatehabad
Aadhar card has once again become a source of income for workers associated with it. This time Photostat machines have become the basis for illegal income of employees. This latest news has come from villages of Fatehabad, Haryana. Villagers are complaining that company employees are charging more than specified rates in the name of Photostat expenditure from innocent people. Since there is no Photostat facility in village, they themselves arrange Photostat machine facility and charge for that unfairly. People from a village said that company employees are charging Rs. 5 per copy. For Aadhar card enrollment one copy each of address and ID proof is sufficient but these employees ask for ten copies of each document which is certainly against the law. Their behavior with the villagers is also impolite. On opposition by the villagers they ask to go to city for Photostat of the documents which will also put travelling expense on them. They also comment about the generator expenses for operating the Photostat machine. Raj Narayan, ADC said that people of three companies are doing Aadhaar enrollment in the region and nobody has complained about this in written. If such problem is arising then it will be reviewed and appropriate directions will be issued.
