About 94.4% people have been issued Aadhar cards in Faridabad district. Aadhar card enrollment of about 99.1% people has been completed in the district. Aadhar card of the remaining people will be made soon. A senior district official shared this information through video conferencing with chief secretary SC Chaudhary. He said that four enrollment camps have been setup to enroll remaining people for Aadhar card. Besides these, two mobile van Aadhaar enrollment centre will be run. Those villages will be covered by van where people have not made Aadhar card. This work began from 9th June. According to 2011 census, population of the Faridabad district is 18.9 lakh out of which 17.11 lakh people have enrolled for Aadhar card. 81593 Aadhaar applications have been rejected in which 45468 tried to enroll twice while enrollment of 36125 people was not completed properly.
Aadhar card essential for everyone: SDM Mewat
SDM of Firozpur Jhirka Meenakshi Goyal has said that Aadhar card is necessary for all the people. This card can only help in availing government scheme’s benefits. Those people who have not enrolled for Aadhar card yet should quickly enroll for it. She said these during a meeting with villages’ Sarpanch and Anganwadi workers at Kisan Bahwan in Pinangwan village. She said that in future as well no work is possible without Aadhar card.
Rs. 100 fee for Aadhar card in Hapur city
If you want to enroll for Aadhar card then submit Rs. 100 first. You won’t need to stand in queue as well. Your work will be done first. These are some talks which can be heard at Aadhar card enrollment centre at bus stand in Hapur. Huge crowd gathered at the enrollment camp. When media persons reached there on hearing this then the staff members ran away from that place. DM Rajesh Kumar Singh said that Aadhar card enrollment is a free of cost process and investigation will be made against the culprits.
