Aadhar Card DBT–LPG subsidy scheme begins in Dhanbad

Good news for LPG consumers caught in confusion over Aadhar card in Dhandab, Jharkhand. Money has started to come into the accounts of those who have come under the Aadhar card circle. Gas companies are paying Rs. 437 as advanced money while Rs. 577 as total subsidy benefits after buying cylinder at full price. Company has started paying money to about 3000 consumers of the Mahavir gas agency. Uday Kumar, Area Sales Manager, Indane has said that those who have linked their Aadhar card, company is transferring subsidy within 1 week into their bank accounts. Work is also underway to cover rest within the Aadhar card circle. Without linking Aadhar card, the cylinder will have to be purchased at full market price without any subsidy benefits from January 31.

Meeting concerning Aadhar card in Faridabad

A meeting was organized at the Municipal Corporation premises in Faridabad on Monday to ensure Aadhar card for every person in the district. SDM Garima Mittal was present as the chief guest for this meeting. Discussions were made to link LPG subsidy with Aadhar card. The meeting was joined by representatives of gas agencies, banks and concerned officials. SDM said that Aadhar card enrollment process has been underway in the district for the last two years but still only 10% success has been achieved. People could have to suffer brunt for this in future. According to directions from central and state government, linking gas connection and bank account with Aadhar card is mandatory for everyone. Anyone showing negligence in this issue will have to buy LPG cylinder without subsidy. She asked all the people to be alert for Aadhar card enrollment and call 1800-300-1947 toll-free number to find nearest centre and enroll for aadhar card.

More machines to be setup for Aadhar card enrollment in Ambala

To cope up with the problems coming in the way of Aadhar card enrollment in Ambala, new machines will soon be setup at several important places in the city. An official told that although Aadhar card enrollment in the district has been achieved by 95%, but complaints are coming to the administration stating many people have not received Aadhar card yet.Many have errors in name and address in Aadhar card. This whole matter has been brought under the notice of UIDAI’s officials and they have assured for solution to this problem soon. He said people can also go to the Aadhar Card website for Aadhar card download using their enrolment details.

DBT for LPG subsidy in Gurgaon from January 2014

Aadhar card linking process for the DBT-LPG subsidy scheme in Gurgaon district has begun. Consumers have to link Aadhar card by December 31 failing to which an additional grace period of 9 days (3 months) will be provided to the consumers. There are more than 3.5 lakh LPG consumers of the three oil companies in the district. Gas agencies have received order that from January 1, cash benefits will be provided to the consumers instead of subsidy.
