21 Illegal Bangladeshi immigrants caught with Aadhar and Voter Card

Uran Police has caught 21 illegal Bangladeshi immigrants from a village of Uran in Navi Mumbai. After straight tip Uran Police caught all of them after a guerilla search. According to the information, there are five men, nine women and seven children. The shocking fact is that many of these caught people have Aadhar card and voter card issued in their name. All the immigrants were living for the last three months in that village. All these people will be sent to 14 days of judicial custody after presenting in the court.

40% LPG consumers linked Aadhaar with bank account in Jamshedpur

Speed of seeding Aadhaar number for LPG DBT scheme is very slow in Jamshedpur district of Jharkhand. Situation is that till now only 40% consumers in the district have linked their Aadhaar number in the last five months. Aadhaar linking process is in operation since May here. According to the information there are about 2.5 lakh LPG consumers in the district. Out of these Aadhaar of 1 lakh people have been linked with bank account. People of Jamshedpur district will get benefits of this scheme from 2014. After Supreme Court’s order on Aadhaar, both consumers and gas distributors are in confusion.

LPG consumers’ in Bhopal get Rs. 435 advance money in accounts

Those people in Bhopal who have linked Aadhaar with bank account and have received Rs. 435 have actually received advance subsidy for the next LPG cylinder. This should not be understood as the subsidy amount of the booked cylinder. An Indane Gas official said that this amount has been given as advance money which will stay in the account. When you will book the cylinder, then you will get the subsidy amount. Bank accounts of many LPG consumers in the state capital have been credited with Rs. 435. Oil company’s officials say that the subsidy amount will be transferred after delivery of the next LPG cylinder. After 48 hours of booking, subsidy amount will be transferred into the bank account. At present price Rs. 589 will reach as the subsidy amount. Consumer has to pay Rs. 1085 to the dealer for a cylinder. Government has included Bhopal in the second phase of the scheme along with few other districts.
